Condition of Participation

The Summer School can be attended by the general public. 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The 15. Summer School takes place from Monday to Friday 5th to 9th of August 2024. The expected start of the Summer School is on Monday after noon, the exact time will be confirmed. The Summer School ends with a Friday lunch.

VENUE
Eco-centre Loutí, Loutí 4, 252 08 Rabyně, MAP

When traveling by public transport through Prague, look for the stop: Rabyně, Loutí. If you will be traveling by car, please try to carpool (we have created a document that will make communication with other participants easier). Parking in the parking lot at the eco-centre will be charged.

ACCOMMODATION
There are two accommodation options:

  • In a tent city near the eco-center. You must have your own tent and sleeping bag. The accommodation fee is included in the basic price of the Summer School.
  • In a hostel 100 meters from the eco-centre. This option is intended primarily for foreign participants, however, there are also places for Czech participants, until capacity is reached. Accommodation fee incl. bed linen110 Euro for 4 nights.

SANITARY FACILITIES
Composting and mobile toilets, showers and cisterns with drinking water will be available in the eco-centre. It will also be possible to use shared sanitary facilities and showers in the hostel.

PARTICIPATION, PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The maximum capacity of the event is 200 participants in the Eco-center Loutí.
  • Changing participants from one organization within one location is not possible. Please respect this rule.
  • Cancellation fee: until 20th June, 2024: 50 Euro; after 20th June, 2024: 100% of the price for the program and accommodation. Your meal allowance will always be refunded.
  • It is possible to send a substitute for yourself. To register a name change to the email: zora.javorska@lsjelinek.cz. If it is necessary to change the invoice, you will be charged an administrative fee of 10 Euro.
  • In case of cancellation of the event by the organizer, the amounts paid are returned in full. In case of force majeure and the need to cancel the Summer School, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded.

PRICE
Summer School 2024 live for non-member organizations: 230 Euro

The price of the live Summer School includes a four-day program and accommodation in a tent (Monday - Friday). Meals are paid separately directly to the eco-centre Loutí, see below. Payment of both invoices is a condition not only for participation in the Summer School, but also for signing up for the afternoon workshops.
At the end of spring 2024 we will send you an email with a reminder to pay an invoice for meals. After payment of both invoices, we will send you an application for the afternoon workshops, which you can choose according to your preferences. The sooner you will pay the invoices, the more choice of workshops you will have.

MEALS
Vegetarian, vegan and most importantly delicious! Loutí is a place in the heart of nature, you won't find a shop here. It is possible to use the common refrigerator for modest personal supplies.
Storage of larger stocks of own food and the possibility of private cooking cannot be ensured. Self-catering is also more time-consuming and it is not possible to allocate more time for it in the program.

The price for a full board was in 2023: 22 Euro/day. We will send you the exact amount during the spring of 2024.

CHILDREN AND DOGS
The presence of children or dogs at the Summer School is not possible due to capacity and organizational reasons.

TAKE IT WITH YOU

  • Tent, sleeping bag, mat, if you plan to sleep in the tent
  • Ecological hygiene items and a towel (there is a root cleaner in the eco-centre).
  • Your own coffee/tea mug, drinking bottle.
  • Cushion, seat relaxation cushion (not necessary, but if you drive, pack them, they may come in handy for lectures and workshops).
  • Swimming suit.
  • Musical instruments.
  • Cash, there is no ATM in Loutí, but there is a great market and refreshment options.
    A name tag with the name of the kindergarten - e.g. a patch - will please us and help if you have it throughout the Summer School.
  • Nice stuff for the raffle.
  • Selected pieces from your wardrobe and library to SWAP.
